APRS TRACKER GROUP BUILD – Cory GB Sickles, WA3UVV
\nWe now have a hard date for the group build \u2013 Saturday May 10th, starting at 09:00. Our instructor,
\nAidan Kern, N3AMK, will physically be in attendance, possibly with some other assistance from fellow WVU
\nstudents and members of the WVU ARC.
\nFor those who have reserved spaces, the per-board cost totaled out at just $25. Please bring cash to pay
\nfor the board kits you have ordered. I plan to be at the clubhouse early, to set up the soldering stations. It is
\nalso suggested that you bring your laptop and a spare USB stick, as to load up the programming software. If
\nyou have a preferred set of hand tools that you would prefer to use, then bring them along, as well.
\nA presentation on APRS and what it can offer the digitally-inclined ham – will be upcoming – as we built
\nout our APRS infrastructure in SWPA.
\nWire snips, wire holders, and small tools from your own work bench would aid in a positive experience.<\/p>\n
